Sonic Surge 2 è la seconda generazione del processore dinamico di punta di Rave Generation. Si basa sull'originale con una vera modellazione di compressione ottica a 3 bande, operazione stereo-linkata e elaborazione a doppia modalità (Multiband o Fullband). Dotato di moderni crossover Linkwitz-Riley a 24dB/oct, curve di drive e tono per banda, modellazione dei transitori, drive armonico, mono-maker e rilassamento delle basse frequenze, Sonic Surge 2 combina il calore dei compressori ottici analogici con la precisione digitale moderna.
